Education that empowers students to look critically at our world, to ask questions, to build new understanding, and to create solutions that will be valued by society is essential for today's complex world. How can we support teachers as they work towards creating learning experiences that will lead all students to successfully reach this vision? In this session, I share my experience as a teacher, wrestling with innovative and creative practices, and my experience as a school leader working to create a school culture of collaboration, learning and possibility. Examples of school structures, timetabling, individual conversations, storytelling, team meetings, Professional Development sessions, and resources to encourage reflective, responsive practice and continuous growth will be explored.
