This session will provide delegates with the opportunity to explore how a school's culture and the beliefs and actions of school leaders within the culture of the school determine the ability to implement purposeful change. The session will include an examination of how implementation is  shaped by our own philosophical leanings, both technical and fluid, as well as include an examination of the research based factors that most influence successful and most importantly, lasting improvement in schools. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how they personally can influence and change professional habits in their place of work; a key to successful implementation of new ideas. "Cause we can't improve unless we change..."
